To feel sorry (for so. or sth.)

Sajnálom a barátnőmet, mert nagyon stresses időszaka van.

I feel sorry for my girlfriend because she’s going through a very stressful time.

[Sorry-feel-I the girlfriend-my(acc.), because very(adv.) stress-y time-period-hers exists.]

 

A te hibád, nem sajnállak.

It’s your fault and I’m not feeling sorry for you.
